 Many of us are finding that more and more of our initial contacts and inquiries occur over the internet and as a result of our having some sort of internet presence -- website, directory listing, or advertising.  Yet it is also clear that the internet has its perils for clinical practice -- especially possible breaches of confidentiality.  This NPI luncheon will focus on the possibilities for internet use in clinical practice.  How can we use the internet to promote our practices in a responsible, ethically sensitive and legally compliant way.  We will touch on such matters as websites, advertisements, email communication with clients/patients, and so on.  NPI members will discuss the ways they use (and decline to use) the internet.  Come hear what your colleagues actually do and why they do it.
